Katy Laubach is currently semi-retired! Along with this board, Katy also serves on the board at Northstar Christian Academy, a hockey school in Minnesota. Previously, Katy owned construction, retail and manufacturing companies in the sheet metal industry in the Bay Area for over 25 years.   She has her undergraduate and graduate degrees in business management from Santa Clara University.  Katy has been involved over the years with other non-profit organizations like Teen Challenge and served over 10 years with South Valley/Venture Christian Church’s high school staff. Katy met Curtis and Ami many years ago when both their kids were young and playing hockey together. Out of that friendship, involvement with ABC was inevitable. Katy says it was impossible not to get involved with such a great cause.

Katy's husband Ryan works in the bay area and she has two sons, Reese and Kole. Katy’s boys are involved in ice hockey and baseball, and her family stays busy traveling for sports and spending time in Lake Tahoe.
